Ariya Pure Reserve's Meyer, Reserve Champion at the 2018 Alpaca Ontario Spring Show, was originally sold to Miriquidi Alpacas. Miriquidi specializes in black and grey alpacas and with the addition of Meyer, Champions were produced in both colours. We just need to look at the recent 2024 Alpaka Expo show in Graz, Austria, where offsprings of Pure Reserve Meyer were awarded with some important results.

Ariya Pure Reserve's Meyer came from a lovely dam Midnight Kiss, that is now deceased, and Snowmass Pure Reserve XX. This combination of genetics and colour genetics resulted in a very uniform, fine and dense fleece that Meyer inherited and over the years Meyer has proven to transfer these very strong characteristics to his offsprings.

Comment from the judge for his 2018 fleece evaluation was to "Make more, please!"

We would like to congratulate Piani degli Alpaca in beautiful Italy for the recent purchase of Ariya Pure Reserve's Meyer from Miriquidi Alpacas. Félicitations! We wish you great success with Mr Meyer.
